Yearly Appraisal Maintenance Begins
The Dickinson County Appraiser’s Office has begun its annual reinspection for the 2026 Appraisal year. We invite you to meet our appraisal staff assigned to your neighborhood or the areas where you own property— Bradford, Kate, Bryce, and Ellen (from left to right).
This spring and summer, they will be visiting properties throughout the county to take updated photographs and check for any significant changes to your property. We kindly ask for your courtesy and cooperation as they fulfill the requirements set by the State of Kansas.
Statute 79-1476 requires that every parcel of real property be physically inspected by the county appraiser at least once every six years. It is our responsibility to ensure property records are as accurate as possible. This year, our team will primarily focus on the cities of Abilene and Enterprise, along with surrounding communities and rural areas in the eastern part of the county. Occasionally, isolated parcels elsewhere in the county may also be inspected to ensure compliance.
